How does a cat think?

A cat was sitting on a window sill. It was a black and white cat with short hair. It had a big head and big ears. It liked to sit on that same window sill every day. There was a big tree outside the house and in front of the window. The cat liked to watch the birds fly up to the big tree and chirp. Sometimes the cat would try talking to the birds.

“Gyah gya gya gay” the cat would say. “Gya gya gya gya gya”

The birds would ignore the black and white cat with short hair. The cat didn’t care. The cat would continue to watch the birds. Its eyes would go wide when one of the birds would fly around. The cat would track every movement of the birds.

The birds would ignore the black and white cat watching them from the window sill. One day the front door was left open and the black and white cat was able to exit the house. It was able to silently stalk toward the big tree. It was able to silently climb the big tree. It was able to silently approach the birds.

The black and white cat quickly pounced on one of the birds. It fluttered its wings and tried to escape. The cat pounced again and struck the bird with its paws, but the bird was able to recover and fly away. All the other birds flew away too.

The cat joyfully jogged back to the house pleased it was able to say hello to its friends.
